Freshfields Equestrian Centre is also home to Hanborough Haflinger Stud. The stud was set up originally in the village of Hanborough in Oxfordshire and moved to Shropshire in December 2000. The studs stallion is Oxnead Act One (aka Tommy) who was bought as a yearling from Oxnead Stud in Norfolk. Tommy who is now 9, is very versatile having won classes in Dressage, SJ, WHP, Ridden Showing and even Gymkhana. At the 2007 breed show he was Supreme Ridden Champion, with his daughter Hanborugh Schakira Reserve. He will standing at stud for the 2008 season.
